Details:

Start on old A1 road, ¾ miles north of Wetherby, at a point 130 yards north of Knaresborough Road end. Proceed north to junction A1 Wetherby bypass. Left and north on A1 via Dish forth and Bladersby roundabouts (straight on) to Londonderry Fork (left) (25.224 miles). Bear right on A1 overpass to junction of old A1 road, left and north for 225 yards to reverse turn at TP 35. South on old A1 via Londonderry to junction new A1, left, and retrace south on A1 to pass finish at electricity pole 4/5344 (180 yards north of Cowthorpe lane End) 50 miles.
