This is the information held in the database about BCF Sussex Road Race 40 miles 19 May 1963.

The Course used was the Cowbeech 40:
Start on East Side of Rushlake Green, proceed North to Earls Green Down, junction with B2096 (M). Left though Three Cups and Punnetts Town to Chapel Cross (M). Left to Warbleton Church (M)(Great Care) Court Horam and Cowbeech (M). Left along the Foul Mile to Rushlake Green and completion of circuit. (4 laps junior) then Left (M) at Rushlake Green, Right (M) at North end of Green and almost at once Left (M) to Finish approximately 400 yards on direct road to Three Cups
