Cycling Club members braved the hottest weekend of the year to ride in the East Sussex Cycling Association's 10-mile and 25-mile time trials from Whitesmith and Crockstead. Times were M. Carpenter [Maurice Carpenter] (27min 42sec — 1hr 10min 49sec), J. Southerden [Jack Southerden] (29min 35sec — 1hr 15min 24sec), P. Baker [Peter Baker] (28min 18sec).
Club members also rode to the division championships road race of 75 miles from Horsebridge.
Afterwards the Hastings CTC Section met the Sussex DA for tea.
